19.05.2010 Interactive multimedia lecternAll-in-one lectern integrates iPad and iPhoneIn the future, the interactive multimedia TechPod lecterns by Tecom will support a direct interaction of iPad and iPhone with the audiovisual technology of the lectern. With the TechPod multimedia lectern, Tecom intends to present an always and anywhere available and easy-to-use interface for multimedia presentations. It was designed and developed in a way that allows for an intuitive use. The all-in-one lectern is equipped with diverse devices like a computer, LCD projector and a CD / DVD player for an interactive and multimedia use and it can be controlled by one control panel. The TechPod unites various presentation technologies in one system. For an advanced usage the TechPod will, in the future, support the integration of the iPhone and iPad. Via the new docking station it is to be possible to connect Apple devices to the lectern and present content of the iPhone or iPad by pushing a button. The TechPod can be used anywhere where multimedia presentations are used, especially in the fields of education and training at schools or universities. The new Apple integratability is to allow the users to concentrate more on the lecture and less on the technology. Tecom will present the lectern with its new features at the lnfoComm in Las Vegas from June 9-11, 2010. |
